Unlike gravity only auxiliary systems, Transfer Flow Auxiliary tanks with the TRAX 3 system monitor the level of your main tank and only add fuel as necessary. Gravity systems work as long as your fuel cap is tight and all connections secure but you don't know the true amount of fuel you have until the auxiliary tank runs dry. TRAX 3 gives you "real-time" fuel levels.
Transfer Flow says: "All TRAX 3 systems include an LCD module that displays fuel levels in both the main and auxiliary tanks. Computer-controlled automatic fuel transfers mean worry-free operation, and much safer and more reliable operations than gravity-fed systems. I would suggest a couple of things. 1) Review the You Tube videos a couple of times before you start and 2) do use a torque wrench. I accidentally overtightened a bolt and snapped it off. Completely my fault.
